Donbassaero strengthens co-operation with Amadeus by choosing of Amadeus Electronic Ticket Server

Madrid, January 15,2007; Amadeus, global provider of technological and distributive solutions for global travel and air carriage industry, and Donbassaero, one of the leading air companies in Ukraine, have signed agreement of use by air carrier of electronic ticket application control unit of Amadeus e-Ticket Server (database serves for control and distribution of electronic tickets).

Subject to conclusion of International Air Transport Association (IATA), that has chosen Amadeus as a strategic partner for transition to non-paper air ticket sales technology until the end of year 2007, realization of the program will cause saving of approximately EUR 7 for each issued ticket.

Introduction of e-ticketing technology will contribute to increase of operational efficiency of Donbassaero; it will significantly increase customer service level, and promote air company sales growth. Choosing of Amadeus as a partner is determined by wide practical experience of the company in e-ticketing, solutions, broad network of control and distribution of electronic tickets (173 air companies and 139 markets), and by access to the biggest world interline-community (230 interline agreements; this amounts 30% of all IATA agreements).

At present, ETS «community» Amadeus includes 49 air companies equipped with electronic ticket application control units; it possess more than 45 external databases. Platform of Amadeus e-ticketing is consistently improving according to needs of branch and IATA recommendations, that will make Donbassaero able to develop interline agreements both with air companies being members of Amadeus e-ticketing community, and, if required, with other market players.

Amadeus e-Ticket Server provided the best level of e-ticketing service in its category, including storage, control and distribution of electronic tickets through channels of GDS global reservation system, issue of electronic tickets in the airports including land service of passengers. Model of community that has become base for e-ticketing technology, is intended to provide Donbassaero with various advantages due to continuous improvement of platform and general development of participants thereof.
